Recertification Courses

Standard First Aid CPR/AED (Level C or HCP) Re-Certification
Duration: 6–9 hours (1 day)


Comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. WSIB approved.

• 3-year re-certification in Standard First Aid & CPR Level C or HCP
• Includes AED certification
• Conducted by a certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor

Prerequisite
To qualify for this course you must have a current Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certificate.

  • • If your previous course was a Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR/AED renewal, you must take a full two day course as you cannot recertify consecutively

  • • If your certificate has expired or is with another agency, you will need to take a full two day course

  • • Proof of certification is required on the day of your training and we do need to see your original certificate (no photocopies)

CPR Level C or HCP / AED Recertification

Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest and include the latest CPR guidelines. All participants will receive the Canadian Red Cross Re-certification card which is valid for 3 years.

Prerequisite To qualify for this course you must have a current CPR/AED certificate from a recognized Agency.
