Ontario Child Care First Aid Regulations
The Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA) came into effect on August 31, 2015. This Legislation replaced the outdated Day Nurseries Act (DNA) and established new rules governing child care in Ontario.
Under the new act effective August 31, 2015: All child care supervisors, employees, and home child care providers must have a valid standard first aid certification including infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
